Our Approach
Career and Recovery Resources provides compassionate, barrier-free outpatient counseling for adults seeking recovery from substance use. Led by licensed counselors, our program uses evidence-based practices to help individuals rebuild their lives while addressing key needs such as employment, housing, and family stability.
Each year, more than 1,500 people receive treatment and education through our programs, which include group and individual counseling sessions focused on recovery, relapse prevention, and personal growth. Licensed by the Texas Health and Human Services Commission and supported by the United Way and other funders, CRR is committed to helping individuals achieve lasting change and a healthier future.

What we Do?
Intensive Outpatient Services
For those who need a short-term program of counseling, substance & alcohol abuse education, and supportive services. A minimum of 10 hours of treatment per week for 6 weeks is required.
Supportive Outpatient Services
For Individuals needing longer term counseling and aftercare support in recovery. A minimum of 2 group counseling sessions per week for 12 weeks is required.
Individualized & Group Counseling
All clients in treatment receive a combination of individual and group counseling. Individual counseling is tailored to help them achieve and maintain recovery from substance and alcohol dependency.

Support Groups
- We offer ongoing peer recovery support groups for all individuals & familys. Fees are based on a sliding scale.
- The team will provide referrals to any other resources needed during treatment and post-recovery.
- We offer trauma-informed care in a safe environment for all genders.
- On a priority basis, for adult pregnant or with dependent children, we also provide individual and group counseling services. (Including children who are in the custody of the state)
- We provide services through case management which offer employment and housing assistance.
